Superdrug Superfruits Exfoliating Mask

Description:

This really is super! Superdrug Superfruits Exfoliating Mask is bursting with raspberry.
Cranberry and Blueberry extracts this mask deeply cleanses and purifies pores, while the Strawberry seeds gently exfoliate the skin- leaving your complexion gleaming.

Review:

This face mask is made with super fruits to deeply but gently exfoliate your skin and minimize pores. It smells just like fruit and is a really pretty purple color. Its suitable for all skin types which is great for my super sensitive skin. Sometimes I find the heating masks irritate my skin but this one is nice and cool and produced only positive results. My skin was both moisturized and exfoliated and my pores vanished! You get so much product in one pack that you could easily do two faces which makes it AMAZING value because its so cheap anyway. Apply to clean skin that's been washed with warm water to open pores and wash off with cold water. Id recommend doing this once a week to keep your skin tip top and radiant.

L'Oreal True Match Foundation

Description:
" The silky texture of True Match blends seamlessly with the skin. It automatically adjusts to the texture of the skin to create a flawless finish."

Review:

1/2

I thought I would try this foundation out because ive seen several beauty vloggers say how much they like it. At first I wasn't at all impressed but I have been converted! I have found that it works best with my concealer placed underneath the foundation as on the top it tends to slide off. Its a really liquid foundation with medium coverage but with the right tools it can be build up to a thicker consistency. A must do with this foundation is using either a foundation brush or beauty blender, it just doesn't work with fingers. I have given it 3 and a half stars out of five because its perfect for days at home or when u need to pop out but for an all day foundation it does need touch ups so on the weekend ill normally use MAC .. that being said Id still happily wear this outside. This is probably best suited to normal skin types, in my opinion its to slippery for oily skin and could show up dried skin. Mine is in the shade Ivory.

Chance Chanel

Description:

"Allow yourself to be swept up in the whirlwind of CHANCE. Similar to the Eau de Toilette, the Eau de Parfum is an Unexpected Floral, created by Jacques Polge like a marvelous constellation."

Review:

This is one of my favorite scents come winter or summer! The deep vanilla scents along with some floral tones make it girly but not to flowery. Its a really classy smell that last for ages on skin or clothes which is pretty rare to find. It is expensive but it is so worth the buy, you can get the eu de toilette version which is cheaper but its worth the extra £10 odd for the perfume version in my opinion. I love the bottle altho I wish the silver didn't scratch so easily. Similar types of smell to this are the Armani Mani and Gucci Guilty.

Where to buy:
Debenhams, House of Fraser, The perfume Shop, Boots
Around £65 for 50ml eu de perfume or around £54 for 50ml eu de toilette

Essie 'cute as a button'

Description:

" A Juicy persimmon delight, a juicy delight of a coral polish that adds an air of innocence instantly. Fresh soft and ripe for the picking. "

Review:

I love love love these nail polishes! The colour is nice and pigmented and there super shiny. Its always best with two coats but each coat drys so fast you dont have to wait around foever. I always put a top coat on, in this picture I have essies 'good to go' which is fast drying and really shiny. The brush is a really good size so its easy to get a good finish. With some other polishes I find the brush can be a little small and so its hard to get it neat but this is just right. At first i was shocked by the price but they are so worth it due to the amazing finish and they do last for a while if kept in a cool dark place. I always get compliments on these colours and this peachy/coral colour is spot on for summer. In this picture I also have the Nailine short square stick on nails.

Positives: Good size brush, Lasts for ages, No chipping, Super shiny, Quick drying, Fashionable colours

Negatives:Its a bit pricey but 100% worth it

MAC Pro Longwear Foundation

Description:

" A long-wear foundation that gives up to 15 hours of wear in any environmental condition. Lightweight and creamy, applies smoothly to provide sheer to medium coverage. Even in hot and humid conditions, controls oil to keep skin fresh, natural and flawless. Provides everyday SPF protection. "

Review:

So first off let me explain a bit about my skin. I have pretty red skin naturally which is my biggest problem when it comes to picking my base make up. I have dry to oily skin which basically means that my t zone is dry and can look flaky easily but on the flip side can also look shiny easily.

This is one of the lightest formula foundations from MAC and so its very build-able. Its not a 'sticky' texture but feels more watery/ liquid which is a reflection of the coverage it gives. Because of this thinner texture I found that it didn't cover my redness so much and concealer was a necessity. As far as daily wear goes, this does last all day but it does need touch ups (just powder) and I can't leave this all day like I can with the studio fix. You can tell thats its breathable and its ideal for people who have tried MAC and found it too full on. The biggest thing about this foundation is that a primer or base for the make up is really essential.

Positives: Built in pump, Build-able coverage

Negatives: Needs touch ups, Can leave dry T zone flaky, Needs a good base/primer

Tangle Teazer

Description:
The Tangle Teezer’s unique teeth configuration delivers rapid, pain-free detangling as well as polishing hair for high shine. Colours and styles may vary. "

Review:

This is absolutely amazing !!! How I havnt bought one of these sooner I have no idea. The bristles are all different lengths so that they get all of the knots out but put as little tension on the hair as possible and the brush itself is designed to sit perfectly in the palm of your hand. I have thick long hair that gets knotted as soon as I move and this is just amazing, no more mattes for me and beautifully soft hair. Id like to get the handbag version which has a cover. THIS IS A MUST HAVE FOR CHILDREN. Sorry about the capitals but if I had one of these as a child I wouldn't have hated me mum so much for tugging on my hair.

Positives: The size is pefect. It weighs nothing so you don't get tired arms. The tension is really minimal so even dry brittle hair is unlikely to snap. They come in loads of cool bright colours and patterns. They also have ones specifically for the handbag and ones desingned for use on wet hair.

Negatives: There is nothing that I don't like about these. I will never go back to hair to hair brush now.

Where to buy:

Boots,  online £10-14 depending on if you want a compact one or regular one.

Description:
“ Feel like rubbing shoulders (and knees, and elbows) with the elite?
Massage in a handful of Smoothie Star™ Body Moisture Milk! Loaded with skin-softening cocoa butter, shea butter, coconut oil and Soap & Glory's WATERLOCK™ moisture-trapping matrix, it also conditions thanks to its delicious (but in this case, definitely not edible) oat, yoghurt & honey formula.
With its delectable almond, oat & brown sugar scent, it pairs perfectly with Soap & Glory's Rich & Foamous™ Bath & Body Wash and maple-fragranced Breakfast Scrub™ Body Smoother.
Soap & Glory is obliged to inform you that despite the hunger-pang inducing scent, Smoothie Star is not a food.”

Review:

The smell of this body milk is beautiful! It says that its almond, coconut, yoghurt, oats and honey and I can defiantly say that it smells like almonds because it’s very sweet. It pretty similar to a body butter in how nourishing it is but its not as thick and sticky as body butters can be. I LOVE that it is in a pump form so that no product gets under your nails (ewwww). I use this every morning when I get out of the shower, it helps to lock in the water, keeps me nourished all day and doesn’t stick to my clothes. Its also great to put on those dry bits (elbows, knees, armpits, ankles) before fake tanning as it doesn’t turn the tan green.

Positives: The smell is beautiful! The pump is so much easier and cleaner to use than the standard body butter tubs. It also has cute simple packaging that will look nice on the shelf and you can twist the top so if you put in your bag it doesn’t leak everywhere. One tube will last me around 6 months and that’s using it to cover my entire body once a day!

Negatives: I don’t think I have any negatives. The only thing if I was being really picky is that the last little bit doesn’t come up the pump.

Cocoa Brown 1hr Tanning Mouse

Description:
“For beautifully bronzed, radiant skin in just 1 hour.
Cocoa Brown One Hour Tan is part of the award winning Cocoa Brown by Marissa Carter sunless tanning range. It has experienced unprecedented success since it stormed the tanning market late last year and is now considered a cult beauty item by beauty insiders. Accelerating ingredients help Cocoa Brown 1 Hour Tan to develop quickly and depending on the shade you would like to be, can be showered off after : Light: 1 HOUR Medium: 2 HOURS Dark: 3 HOURS”

Review:

The colour of this fake tan is great as is the smell and it does exactly what it says and develops in just one hour. The reason I have only given it 2 stars is because I fake tan all the time so im never pale and the upkeep of this for someone doing it that often is too much in comparison to my other tans. It would however be perfect for someone who only tans every now and then. It’s also great for a time when you need to be tanned, don’t have time to wait and you don’t want to wear and instant one. It would be great the day before a festival.

Positives: The colour is really natural and even and you can leave it on for a longer period of time to get a darker result. The packaging is amazing! Anything pink and girly that looks nice on the shelf gets thumbs up from me. The smell is really nice, none of that horrible fake tan smell. I LOVE the consistency of this, im used to using foam fake tans and this moose (which is a lot like hair moose) glides on the skin really nicely.

Negatives: It says it will last up to a week but for me that didn’t happen. This could be my skin, my skincare routine or my everyday activities that have effected it so it might work for others but for me after about 3 days I had to scrub it all off because it was going patchy on the inside of my elbows and my thighs. The only other negative is that you could probably only get about 6 full bodies out of it. For regular fake tanners that’s probably not enough but for one off that’s fine.

Primark Stick On French Manicure Nails

Description:
"24 fashion manicure nails with adhesive"

Review:
Where to buy:

These Primark stick on nails are so worth the £1!!!!!! I mean really you can’t get any cheaper than that. Perfect for a first time stick on nail user and great as a gift. I also think there great for young girls and teens that can’t afford to go a salon because the finish is actually really good! You can’t put a top coat on them because it peels off and it looks like the nails are chipping but that’s not really a problem. With the French manicure ones I will wear them until they look a bit warn and then paint over them with a thick colour such as black so i can get another weeks’ worth of wear out of them.

Positives: Lots of different colours and designs that change all the time. There super easy to use and very cheap.

Negatives: They don't have a lot of sizes so if you lose one there are no spares to stick back on but for the price I really don't care. The glue is rubbish so you will need to use another one I highly recommend the nailene glue which you can get from Superdrug or boots.
